Yesterday Apple announced major updates to its iPod family, including the all-new iPod nano which sports a bigger and brighter screen and an updated user interface. For the first time the nano will also be able to play video and run games downloaded through the iTunes Store. The new design is made from anodized aluminum and polished stainless steel, and is available in five colors: silver, black, blue, green, and a (PRODUCT) RED special edition. It offers 24 hours of audio playback or five hours of video playback on a single charge and will be available in two storage capacities — a 4GB model and an 8GB model, with prices starting at $149.
