Don't limit yourself to generalities. You don't have to learn bare facts. It doesn't make you smarter, and it doesn't make you analytical. So if you really want to begin to learn just the A's, you must constantly ask yourself the question "why". Make use of other people's knowledge. Not in the sense of "cheating", no! Ask friends, adults, teachers for advice and tips, study how others solved this or that problem. Broaden your horizons, and learning will be much easier for you.
Do your best. It is important not only to memorise, but also to go back over what you have learned from time to time. Do this to refresh your knowledge in your head, otherwise some of the material will just be forgotten. That way you can easily pass any test and pass any exam. If you happen to come across a difficult question during an exam or a test and you cannot remember the answer to it, do not worry. Write the question down on a separate sheet of paper and concentrate. After a while, you will remember the answer to the question.
