It is inevitable that you will eat out on occasion when you are trying to lose weight. Therefore, it is important that you consider the people you will be eating out with. Studies have recently shown that women and men eat more when they are in a woman's presence, and they eat less when in a man's presence. Although we don't really know why this appears to be so, you can use this knowledge to your advantage the next time you go out with your girlfriends and hopefully increase your self control.

A simple way to lose weight is by eating a salad before every dinner. You will get much-needed fiber from a salad, which will help you to fill up, but with less calories. Avoid putting extra cheese and dressing on your salad, because this increases the calories and fat.
