Product Description
The Charmed Ones, modern-day urban witches, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano), Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Paige (Rose McGowan), move into Season four with deeper, darker and more deftly crafted stories. As Piper and Phoebe struggle with the loss of their older sister, they discover the existence of half-sister Paige Matthews. Possessing the power to orb as a half-Whitelighter, Paige joins the Halliwell sisters to recreate the magical triad that protects the innocent and vanquishes evil. But all may be lost as Coles (Julian McMahon) demonic side takes over, and Leo (Brian Krause) must face his past if he is to help the sisters in a battle that could destroy them all. With intriguing characters, amazing special effects and the perfect brew of suspense, drama and humor, each exciting episode in this fascinating supernatural series casts a gripping spell.

Charmed: The Complete Fourth Season is a captivating story of big changes in the world of the Halliwell sisters. San Francisco witches Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Piper (Holly Marie Combs) grieve the loss of Prue (Shannen Doherty) at the same time they discover the existence of a fourth Halliwell sibling: Paige (Rose McGowan), offspring of the girls' late mother and a Whitelighter (thus making Paige part witch and part angel). Paige was raised as an adopted child, but has been aware of her sisters for awhile. Still, she's ambivalent about joining forces with them (despite having two powers instead of the usual one), and Piper--now the oldest of the surviving sisters, reluctantly taking over Prue's position as leader--is in no hurry to welcome Paige into the fold.
Blood and loyalty prevail, however, and soon Paige takes over Phoebe's old role as screw-up rookie, mangling potions and causing havoc (such as switching bodies with Phoebe at an inopportune time). But her strong survival sense, compassion, and ability to read people (she's studying to become a social worker) add a powerful new weapon to the Halliwell arsenal. Meanwhile, several key storylines from the third season carry over to this new year, notably the running drama concerning demon-with-a-soul Cole (Julian McMahon) and his ongoing battle to stay free of hell's wrath while maintaining dark powers. His romance with Phoebe leads them to become ruler and queen of the Underworld, where Phoebe's loyalty is tested and a demonic baby enters the picture. Piper and her husband, Whitelighter Leo (Brian Krause), deal with sorrow over Prue and frustration over not being able to have a child, and the sisters' police ally, Inspector Morris (Dorian Gregory), has to contend with an out-of-control boss bent on charging the Halliwells with a crime. All that and a witch-hunter and appearance by the angel of destiny, who offers to relieve the witches of their magical burden. The most impressive aspect of the fourth season is the way Doherty's loss isn't treated as a mere vacuum to be filled with a new body, but is taken as an opportunity to reinvent the show in several crucial ways. --Tom Keogh

- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2023WARNING: IF YOU HAVE NOT, I REPEAT NOT SEEN CHARMED SEASON FOUR, YOU MAY WANNA SKIP THIS REVIEW, THERE DOES CONTAIN SPOLIERS, I REPEAT SPOLIERS!!!
Amazing loved it! Phoebe married Cole, Cole didn't tell Phoebe he was a demon again, Paige got turned into a vampire, Piper got stressed over Phoebes pregnancy, Oh yeah Phoebe found out she was pregnant, The Seer took Phoebes baby to become the next Source of All Evil, Phoebe ripped off a piece of the Seers ear lobe, Paige got trapped in a magic proof cage, then Phoebe got trapped in the cage, and then those two used the To Call a Lost Sister spell, to bring piper into the cage, to use the power of three to break outta the cage (cage lets magic in but not out), Piper tried to Blast her way out but Phoebe and Paige said that it would probably bounce off and kill them! You know just a brief ("breaf") summary, (not all parts r in order)

- Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2013Charmed has been the best kind of moving tv show of all time since Touched By A Angel, it gives more then a tv show to be surrounded by a bunch of male costars & be the 1 or 2 out of 3 women who are the 2nd leading actors of the show & the men are the main leads but Charmed redefined that by just having the Women take over before any of these other shows came to be other then Buffy Vampire Slayer but it's not the same because it's not but 3 women who run the show not just 1 & 3 more are leading behind the main 1. 3 women who define being not just being beautiful & sexy but kicking butt & helping people through hard times like others would do for them. They go the extra step or mile to give the good the world needs & still prevail to succeed in saving themselves as well as others. They are a team, a team of extraordinary beautiful women. These Women are Witches & they mean business when it comes to lasting on tv for 8 seasons & still got the best of the best reviews in WB history. Long Live The Charmed Ones
- Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2005Ok, after reading a few reviews, I feel that I must say something to defend Charmed, an awesome supernatural hit drama series. I have been a fan since season three (I didn't find out about it till then...) I watch re-runs all the time, and can't miss a single new one. Not to mention my many pictures of the acutal manor, etc... I saw a couple of reviews that said Paige is in replace of Prue, this simply is not true at all. Paige is the sister they never had, in my opinion. The trio seem stronger than ever, they feel like actual sisters instead of one bosing the others around. Prue fought with Phoebe all the time, arguing about issue with her leaving etc... Anyway I just feel that some of you think that Paige replaces Prue in season four. She is a completely different character than Prue, and if she were replacing Prue, wouldn't she be the oldest? Without Three of them, there is no Charmed, I actually became more of a fan after Prue died. I don't have any Charmed paraphanalia with Prue on it anyway because she had to big a part... I hope this helps clarify the Paige Vs. Prue issue.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2005Charmed is an amazing show....it's funny, unique, well acted
and exciting. I've loved this show since the beginning. I was disappointed when Shannen Doherty left, not for personal reasons since she's not one of my favorite actors, but because her character was very important to the show. I wasn't sure if Rose's character would work initially. Having said that, I actually like Rose's character better than Shannen's in some ways. The character of Prue I felt often times was bossy and b--t---y!! I don;t think that Shannen works well with others! Anyway, I like the dynanmic between them, they seem to have good chemistry and it works!
The one thing that really pissed me off though was that Holly Marie Combs was put last on the monacer and it is still last. I don;t know why they wouldnt have fixed that by now. It still pisses me off that she is put last after Rose when she is an original cast member....Hello...WB...will you fix it already! I even emailed them about it and they never got back to me. Anyway, I absolutely love Charmed and always will!!! Charmed Rocks!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Les soeurs Halliwell au sommet (2)
4-03 Rage et chagrin (Hell Hath No Fury)
4-10 Mauvais esprits (A Paige From the Past)
4-19/4-20 L'Enchanteur (We're Off To See the Wizard)/Échec au roi (Long Live the Queen)
4-22 Choix final (Witch Way Now ?)
