I have a natural wave to my hair, but my hair doesn't air dry evenly. And I'm also pretty low-maintenance and lazy when it comes to my hair--I don't like spending a ton of time on it.
So I looked into buying a diffuser and I found this great item. Now I just towel dry my hair to damp, apply a product to help manage frizz and protect my hair, and then use the diffuser on hot & low. After trying different methods to figure out what works best, I have moved away from the tedious procedures I read online. Instead, I don't use any clips to separate my hair, just start from the under layer, grab a chunk of hair, twist it up a bit, lay it in the diffuser head, and roll it around against my scalp for a few seconds. Repeat a few times all over my head, looking for areas that appear flat. I don't dry it until it's bone-dry, just enough for it to hold shape. My hair is dry with a voluminous, beachy wave in about 7 minutes.
I have tried the flat attachment but I'm not good at using it yet so I won't speak to its quality.
I have read other reviews that mentioned issues with getting the attachments on, or them melting. I haven't had any of these issues. I just press them firmly, straight into the dryer and they're good to go.

Okay...I had a hair dryer that I loved for 15 years or more... so I wanted to get another one that I would also love. Well my last one had a lot of power...isn't that mainly all I need? Read the reviews..okay. Well, it is okay but what is soooo annoying is tge hot,warm switch and the high, low switch and the cool button takes up the whole handle. There is no place to put your fingers to hold the hairdryer . Plus the attachment does not stay put..swivels while you are using it. I never use the cool button. Too many buttons. I would not buy it again.
