Practical Stuff from Mel

We used Nuk for Rosie. They have different teats to support breast feeding and different size/speeds, so it’s important you get the early stage ones first etc… We didn’t plan to give Rosie a dummy, but NICU suggested it for ear drainage.

We used Grobags and then when she was older bought some from Sainsbury’s. They do travel ones too, so you can safely put them in their car seat whilst in one. Brilliant for late nights and keeping them asleep!

We had a baby monitor on Rosie’s cot. I couldn’t cope with going from constant monitoring in hospital to nothing at home, and it saved her life twice, so I’m a huge advocate but that was our journey. This is closest to what we had. There are loads.

Another lifesaver - this was amazing for helping with colds and chest infections. You can also plug in lavender and other stuff to help aid sleep. It doesn’t heat the room etc… again, lots around, and you may not need it. I’d have one again
