This group of concerned citizens is leading the support logistics efforts for students protesting at the Florida Capitol, to make sure that they are fed and cared for while they exercise their right to protest peacefully. The Dream Defenders are leading groups of young people who are converging in Tallahassee to demand that Gov. Rick Scott call a special session of the Florida legislature to address the issues at the center of the Trayvon Martin tragedy: stand your ground vigilantism, racial profiling and the war on youth. They are occupying our capitol until he answers their demands.
