Coming in December 2022, a simple device that lets you transfer fuel from one isobutane canister to another, thereby avoiding excessive waste. As I will be backpacking more often this will become increasingly important! Very clever.

A reasonably priced golf windshirt with DWR and pockets (men's medium in Red/Black, Crimson/Navy or Royal Blue/White).

Frequent Golf Product of the Year. Size Medium, Dusty Blue.
Leather Jacket ($599) ***
A well-designed lined leather jacket that has been on my wishlist for years! The tobacco color is better than a basic brown or black, although I'd really like to see this in cordovan. Men's medium.
Watch Cap ($49) **
A slightly different approach to a light watch cap, with a mesh interior, wool/synthetic exterior, and extra insulation for the ears. My only concern is will the Large size fit my fat head. I like the navy, green, and charcoal colors.

I love to read and always appreciate a good book as a gift, although I've got a lengthy reading list.
