Easier login with OpenID

Now it’s possible to use an OpenID to login to Wishlistr! This means that you don’t have to remember yet another username and password, since OpenID is a system that lets you use the same username and password on all OpenID enabled websites across the Internet. Today thousands of websites supports OpenID and more are getting on board every day. For new users that don’t yet have a Wishlistr account but an OpenID, this means that they can skip registration and sign in directly with their OpenID instead.
But what does this mean for those of you that already have a Wishlistr account? Well, nothing. As long as you are happy using your regular Wishlistr username and password, that is. Both types of authentication systems will co-exist and you can choose which one you want to use. If you have an OpenID and want to use that to login, you can – once you’ve signed in with your normal username and password – associate an OpenID with your account. From then on you can use your OpenID to login.
If you don’t have an OpenID, but want one, you can get it from an OpenID provider, such as myOpenID (it’s free).
